The String of Pearls is a vining succulent.  It's pea shaped leaves make it easily identifiable and they look great cascading from one of our plant shelves.

String of Pearls are succulents and so are very sensitive to over watering.  Allow to dry out completely before watering and if in doubt leave it a few days.  When it is time to water thoroughly soak the plant until the water runs out of the bottom of the pot, ensure all the water has drained away and then leave it to dry out again.

String of Pearls like lots of bright indirect light and a few hours of  either morning or evening direct light.

Feed twice a month with standard houseplant fertiliser during the Spring and Summer months.

String of Pearls like really well draining soil, as they are susceptible to root rot. Visit our soil bar for orchid bark, pumice and perlite to add to a standard houseplant soil to achieve this.

Keep away from open winter windows and cold draughts. String of Pearls like to be warm.

As String of Pearls are succulents they do not like to be humid.  Keep out of naturally more humid rooms like bathrooms or kitchens.

Considered toxic to animals and humans.
