TRADESCANTIA
Also known as Wandering Dude, Tradescantia comes in many different colours and leaf patterns. They are super easy care and propagate easily for a full and luscious plant.
WATER
Water when the top 5cm of soil has become dry. They do not like to dry out completely but can be susceptible to root rot if over watered.
LIGHT
Tradescantia prefer bright indirect light. Too much direct sunlight will burn the leaves, and too little light will result in a leggy plant.
FERTILISING
Feed once a month with diluted standard houseplant fertiliser.
SOIL
Tradescantia are fine in standard houseplant soil as long as it contains some basic elements to increase drainage, such as perlite.
TEMPERATURE
Standard household temperatures are fine for Tradescantia.
HUMIDITY
Standard household temperatures are fine for Tradescantia.
TOXICITY
Tradescantia are considered toxic to humans and animals.
