WATERMELON PEPEROMIA
With it's patterned almost juicy looking foliage it's easy to see where this plant gets it's name from. They are considered easy care and are compact growers so they are a great option if you have limited space.
WATER
Water when the top 5cm to 10cm of soil is dry. They do not like to dry out completely but can be susceptible to root rot if the soil is left too soggy.
LIGHT
Medium to bright indirect light are the best conditions for Watermelon Peperomia. They cannot tolerate any direct sunlight as it will damage their leaves.
FERTILISING
Feed every 2 weeks with a standard houseplant fertiliser during the Spring and Summer months.
SOIL
Visit our soil bar to add perlite and coco coir to a standard houseplant mix for your Watermelon Peperomia to thrive.
TEMPERATURE
Watermelon Peperomia are fine in standard household temperatures, as long as they are not too close to open Winter windows or hot radiators.
