WATER
You should wait for the soil to completely dry out before watering your Aloe Vera. They are far more susceptible to overwatering than underwatering.
In the winter it will not need any watering at all as they like to go dormant.

LIGHT
Your Aloe Vera will like lots and lots of bright light. Too much direct midday sun may scorch the leaves but morning and late afternoon direct sun is fine.

FERTILISING
Aloe Vera do not need any feed, in fact they love nutrient poor soil.

SOIL
Your Aloe Vera will like a very well draining soil mix, cactus or succulent mix is best. You can add lots of horticultural sand and perlite to a standard houseplant soil mix to achieve the right consistency.

TEMPERATURE
They prefer a warm spot, but most household temperatures will be fine.

HUMIDITY
Standard household humidity is fine.

TOXICITY
Considered toxic if ingested to humans and animals.
